 Social Procurement Framework

To the right is the presentation Ted Zlotnik, Director, Supply Chain Management made to Mayor and Council on January 26, 2016.

That evening Mayor and Council gave approval for the Supply Chain department to develop a policy.

As promised at the "Doing Business with the RMWB" session hosted by the Fort McMurray Construction Association, Northeastern Alberta Aboriginal Business Association and the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce session back in January of 2015, the RMWB is excited to announce that they have launched a Vendor Self Registry Database.

  • Vendors will self-register their companies into the database.
  • The database will be used for below threshold procurements.  This means that all staff within the RMWB will have access to this database for vendor information when seeking quotations.
  • The database will not create a preferred vendor list
  • The database will not imply an offer of work from the RMWB
  • The database will collect information to broaden the vendor base in our quoting requests.

To register your company, click here
and follow the prompts.
